What is the difference between an elopement & an intimate wedding?

The real definition of an elopement is when a couple runs off to quickly get married. In today's day & age, eloping may be the easier and budget friendly route. Elopements are usually very short and mostly focused on the couple rather than having an extravagant venue, decorations or many guests. The couple may only want a immediate family and close friends to witness the event. In this occasion, there is opportunity to have beautiful photographs created where the only highlight is the couple, their love, and a stunning location.

An intimate wedding is simply just a wedding, but smaller. Smaller venue, smaller guest list and shorter ceremony. Intimate weddings are not necessarily non-traditional, but more relaxed and is centered around family and friends celebrating the bride & groom. It is a very casual approach to a wedding and lovely way to commemorate the newly weds.

There is still a story to be told no matter how small the wedding may be. Whether you want to get married at a court house and get dressed up for portraits later on or have a cozy backyard wedding, I would love to be a part of your special day!
